Bio
Rich Wales
Rich Wales has been performing with rock bands since high school and college on the east coast. Most recently he was the lead guitarist for the San Jose band MoZilli for over 10 years, and has also done studio work for various artists. He has written and produced multiple songs as dEAdCAFE (Spotify, Pandora, Youtube), providing guitars, keyboards, bass and vocals.
Christian Cuenco
Christian is the lead vocalist and guitarist you didn’t know you needed — until now. Armed with a guitar, a mic, and just enough caffeine to power a small village, Christian brings high energy, emotional depth, and the occasional dad joke to every performance.
Blending soulful vocals with guitar riffs that make amps cry tears of joy, Christian’s music lives somewhere between heartbreak and a really good road trip playlist. Influenced by indie, alt-rock, and that one band you pretend you discovered first, he’s got a sound that’s fresh, honest, and occasionally loud enough to upset your neighbors (sorry, not sorry).
When he’s not writing songs, performing, or making questionable late-night snack choices, Christian is probably pretending not to obsess over pedalboards and tone settings. Still, music is the mission — and he’s just getting started.
Patrick Steele
Bass & Backing Vocals
Patrick Steele brings decades of experience and groove to the band’s rhythm section. Growing up in the Monterey Bay area, he started out on drums in grade school, cutting his teeth with local bands throughout his teens and twenties. In the mid-’90s he made the switch to bass, quickly finding his voice on the low end. Within a year he joined the house band at Planet Gemini, and soon after became a fixture in the Monterey Bay Area scene with Joshua’s Shadow, holding down the bass chair while also performing with various other groups.
After relocating to the Bay Area in the early 2000s, Patrick continued performing, including with The Noble-Steele Project in San Jose. Known for his deep pocket and relentless pursuit of tone, he balances technical chops with musical feel — always chasing the holy grail of bass tone and forever on the hunt for that next new bass.
Richard Wasso
Richard "Chief" Wasso has been a part of the Bay Area music scene for over 30 years.
Early influences were bands such as King Crimson, UK, Dave Weckl, Chick Corea Elektric Band and Edgar Winters White Trash.
Truly an eclectic musician, these influences can be heard throughout his playing.
Whether it be hard metal, rock, pop, funk or jazz, Chief brings his best to the table.
